CFO Signals Capital intelligence

Privacy

We treat scan requests as confidential business context.

Effective June 25, 2026.

What We Collect

When you request a Capital Opportunity Scan, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, work email, company or organization, role or title if provided, capital event type, decision timing if provided, message, public links, and summary context you choose to share. The site may also capture basic attribution fields such as page URL, referrer, UTM parameters, and submission time so we can understand where requests came from.

How We Use It

We use request information to evaluate whether a scan is appropriate, respond to you, prepare source-backed capital intelligence, manage follow-up, improve the product, and keep an internal record of requests and outcomes.

How We Share It

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate the site, email, storage, analytics, or workflow systems. If a scan requires specialist review, we will not share non-public materials with a financing, tax, legal, accounting, real estate, or other advisor without a business reason and appropriate permission or engagement context.

Public And Private Information

CFO Signals often begins with public records. Use the public form for summary context only. If a scan later requires private documents or context, those materials should be shared only if you are authorized to provide them and through an appropriate transfer path. Do not submit highly sensitive information through the public form.

Security And Retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for business information. No website or email system is perfectly secure. We keep request records as long as reasonably useful for the business purpose, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and product improvement.

Your Choices

You can ask us to update or delete request information by emailing joe@bous.com. We may retain limited records where required for legitimate business, legal, or compliance reasons.

No Professional Advice

CFO Signals provides decision-support and capital intelligence. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting, securities, or financing advice. Specialist execution should be handled by qualified advisors and providers.
